When AgCl is doped with CaCl2 , Some of the sites of Ag+ Ions are occupied by Cd2+ Ions . As charge on Cd is +2 , One Cd+2 ion will replace Two Ag+ Ions. This lattice will have cationic vacancies and number of vacancies are same as the number of Sr2+ Ions. It increases electrical conductance due to vacancies.
