What change will be observed in the instrument shown in Fig. B, if it is kept
very close to the circuit shown in Fig. A?​

The needle of the compass in figure B does not get deflected as circuit is closed and hence does not act as a magnet. (a compass needle gets deflected when bought close to a magnet)
