Ashoka attacked and conquered Kalinga in 261BC . The war with kalinga proved to be a turning point in Ashoka's life . The death and destruction that he saw made him feel very sad . He decided never to fight another war and devote the rest of his life to serve his people.

kalinga wat was the biggest war ever happened. ashoka the king of patliputra fought this war. he saw so much of blood and so many tears. he felt very sick and tough to change himself as so many ppl abused him and him self was very sad. and then he changed to Buddhism
