Fusion is basically happens on sun as, there is atoms Hydrogen and Helium are combined togther and releases an infinistimal amount of energy.

But in case of Fission ,

                                     there is disfragmentation or decay of an radioactive element to produce an enormous amount energy which is used to produce electricity,and used in other areas.

Actually we need high temprature and pressure to obtain fusion and fission as vice-versa.
