increasing pressure and lowering temperature of gas leads to change of its state i.e. gas changes to liquid , but gas is compressible so we have to apply more pressure or lower temperature the temperature.
When we apply pressure the molecules of gases come together in contact. Same in lowering the temperature .
for eg in winter dogs cats all closes their body to sleep.
