What changes does frequency or wavelength when light passes from rarer to a denser medium?

When light passes from a less denseto a more dense substance, (for example passing from air into water), the light is refracted (or bent) towards the normal. ... The bending occurs because light travels more slowly in adenser medium. A demonstration ofrefraction can be conducted at home in a dark room.

frequency does not change in any condition only wavelength changes in this condition....
