Many changes have taken place in the Indian society since independence such as the caste system which had become very rigid by the later Vedic Age has now been maintained in the social ladder of the society. There is no supremacy of the Brahmans as well as all the castes can now read the Vedas and perform the rituals and wear the white sacred thread which was usually only allowed to the Brahmans nor there is any rule of the Kshatriyas but now everything has been changed. All the castes are now being treated equally whether he/she is of any caste. There is also a change in the religious ladder of the society.Any people can now change his/her caste and religion. Regards
