The Green Revolution in India has revolutionized the field of agriculture.There were many great changes in the field of agriculture that took place after it.--

1)More incomes for farmers:-By using modern equipments the farmers can grow more crop in less time and also they became independent of the dependence on natural rainfall

2)More economic activities and opportunities attracted farmers to do farming at large scale.

3)Agro-based industries came up and people got jobs in those industries.So unemployment was combated at a very large scale in rural India

4)Food Security:-Due to more production food security of such a big nation was maintained

5)Indian economy which is based on agriculture began to grow faster at a very good pace.As a result today India is meeting not only its food requirement but also it is fulfilling the demands of other countries.

The agriculture after green revolution has brought many changes
1)there was use of HYV seed
2)pujab and haryana were the two states which adopted use of drip irrigation
