People in different places on the earth wear different types of clothes. People near the equator wear light cotton clothes so that they soak up the heat and keep the body cool. Whilst people living near the poles wear clothes made of wool so that the body remains insulated. The clothes people wear also depends on the season, i.e. if there is winter in a certain area people will wear clothes made of wool, likewise if there is summer in a particular area people will wear clothes made of cotton and sleeveless clothes.
