Answer: When the conditions are unfavorable the amoeba forms to a cyst.

The cyst is a hard-walled body that can exist for the longer duration of time still the environment is favorable for the amoeba to survive.

When the favorable conditions emerge the cysts, break up, and the amoeba comes out.
