During digestion

1) In mouth starch is converted to maltose by Ptyalin (Salivary Amylase) also in the small intestine starch is converted to maltose by Pancreatic juice.

2) In the Small Intestine Liver converts Fats into Emulsified fats which in turn get converted by lipase into fatty acids and glycerol.

3) Proteins get converted into peptides by Pepsin in stomach and also get converted into peptones in small intestine by Trypsin, finally peptides and peptones get converted to Amino acids.
