Clouds cover the sun by joining all clouds altogether and hence the place becomes dark. Before raining , wind with the slow speed moves and lighting can be seen.

Answer:
Clouds formed when water evaporates and rises up in the air and in the form of water vapor it settles in the air. When condensation process takes place, tiny droplets are formed and they start colliding with themselves. When these droplets of water become too heavy to remain suspended in the cloud, they fall as rain on Earth. When it cools or condenses, water vapor transforms into clouds — that is, it turns back into liquid water or ice.
