Ways to change Power of a Device :

  • Power dissipated from a device refers to the work done by the electrical device in unit time. Mathematically, Power from an electric device is given as Voltage²/Resistance.

 \boxed{ \bf P =  \dfrac{{V}^{2} }{R}}

As per the question, the voltage has to be kept constant !

So, we can say :

 \boxed{  \implies \bf P  \propto  \dfrac{1}{R}}

So, we will reduce the resistance of the device in order to increase the power .
