In a tribal society, many people adapt to the new social structure due to economic growth and change in caste-based society.

Smaller castes joined in Varna, new caste people joined with Brahmins, whereas kshatriyas started new Rajput.

All carpenters, blacksmith named as separate jatis.

Christian and converted Christians were separated. Punjabians converted to Islam.

The society comes out with more caste and religion."

(i) some tribal groups lead a Nomadic Lifestyle as Hunters- gatherers and animal headers.

(ii) they reared animals such as cattle, goat, camel or sheep for horses for their liveliHood

(iii) Such nomadic pastoralists lived on milk and other products produced by their animals

(iv) they exchanged wool,Ghee, and so forth , with people in towns and villages for grains, clothes, salt, utensils ,etc

(v) certain pastrol tribes also used primitive technology to practice shifting cultivation.
