In which case as a head girl I would say it is incredibly difficult to make any changes to the school.You could however make minor details but there are a lot of things to keep in mind.
1)It needs to be approved by the students and parents
2) It should be approved by school staff and the headmaster/principal
3) keep in mind cost- if it results in profit or loss
4) health and safety
These are just a few to keep in mind and to aid you. DO NOT be discouraged by anyone keep trying, get the help of the student council.
As an example here are a few things the head boy and I did to our school.
SCHOOL GARDEN( students would plant anything and nurture it. would be kept in pots at the back of the school. Reason;global warming, self sustainability etc)It costed the school nothing as students would pay very little.
BAKE SALE( students make their own food sell it also listing down the ingredients for allergies.50% would but art supplies for the school 50% charity. certificates were given out for volunteer work.Took place every break for a month.
ORT-Only Reading Time. secondary student would read to FS students during school registration time.
