in hypotonic sol. water goes into the RBC
in isotonic no change will take place

In the isotonic solution the RBC cell does not change in shape as no process occurs
In the hypotonic solution the RBC cell bulges and the water enters into the cell
In the hypertonic solution the RBC cell looses water from the cell so it becomes small
