What chaos followed when the invisible man lost his temper
Answers
It is quite true the unveiling of the stranger was unplanned and sudden for everyone; neither had he planned to make his invisibility known to people in Iping, nor people had ever expected they would see such a phenomenon in their village.
The reason behind this unveiling was Griffin’s short temper. As the stranger began removing his bandages, nose, spectacles, and clothes, his invisibility shocked the spectators. Mrs. Hall was horror struck and shrieking rushed out of the door. Hearing the tumult emanating from the inn, people rushed towards it; they saw first Mrs. Hall running out of the inn, followed by Teddy Henfrey; this was followed by Millie’s screams. Hearing this noise, people gathered at the village fair also ran towards the inn.
The crowd of villagers gathered outside the inn; most of them did not know about the invisibility of the stranger; some of the people got together and tried to get into the inn to see what had caused the turbulence. As the crowd led by Mr. Hall, Mr. Bobby Jaffers, and Mr. Wadgers entered the inn, all were shocked to see a headless figure standing in front of them. As they rushed to catch the figure, it became more invisible by taking off the clothes. The figure became totally invisible and struck blows, kicks, and slaps on anyone that came close to it. And finally the invisible stranger ran away.
