Abdul Kalam was a great personality who will always be remembered for his contributions to the national development as scientist and statesman. He inherited many admirable characteristics and values from his equally great parents. He learnt from them compassion, generosity, tolerance and acceptance for other religions. These characteristics always guided him to the greatness he later achieved in his life. He became one of the most popular and admirable personage in the history of India.
