China rose indicator turns magenta in acidic solution, no change in neutral solution and green in basic solution. Therefore, test tube I contains an acidic solution (lemon juice), test tube III contains basic solution (lime water). As test tube II shows no change in colour so, it contains a neutral solution (sugar solution)
