I totally disagree that the chicken came first. As we have learnt in several chapters in Science, all organisms originate from the smallest unit of life that is the cell. So it is obvious that since an egg is a cell, it came before the chicken. It does not require a chicken to be formed in the first place, as a cell is what determines an organism's features with the help of genetics.
