Answer:

when the number of atoms of each element are same on both reactant and product side, then the balancing of equation will be completed.

5 types of chemical reactions:

1. combination reaction : when two reactants react with each other to form one product, then it is combination reaction.

2. decomposition reaction : when one reactant decomposes to form 2 or more products, then it is decomposition reaction.

3. single displacement reaction : when a high reactive element displaces other low reactive element from it's compound, it's displacement reaction.

4. Double displacement reaction : where there is an exchange of ions between the two reactants to form product, it is double displacement reaction.

5. Redox reaction : oxidation reaction and reduction reaction both takes place simultaneously due to which it is known as redox reaction.

oxidation is gaining of oxygen or losing hydrogen atoms.

reduction is gaining of hydrogen or losing of oxygen atoms.
