Here are the conditions that make fusion possible: High temperature - The high temperature gives the hydrogen atoms enough energy to overcome the electrical repulsion between the protons. Fusion requires temperatures about 100 million Kelvin (approximately six times hotter than the sun's core).

● Nuclear fusion reaction occurs at very high temperature of order of 10^7k. It is not possible to maintain such a high temperature in the laboratory. Thus. it is not possible to carry out nuclear fusion reactions in the laboratory.
● High pressure is needed to squeeze hydogen atoms together. They must be within 10^-5 metersof eachother to fuse.
