hey!!
_______
Oxygen in the air can cause sliced fruit to brown, a process called enzymic browning (an oxidation reaction).
Phenols and the enzyme phenolase are found in the cells of the apple, and when these are exposed to oxygen in the air, for example through slicing, the oxygen causes a reaction.
hope help u!!

The conditions that will speed up the process of browning in apples are:
1.Cutting apples with a rusted knife or storing them in a copper bowl will cause the chemical reaction causing the brown colour ration to occur faster.
2.The pH level on the surface of the cut fruit and vegetables also affects the browning process.
3.Cutting an apple leads to browning of apples due to oxygen.
