Deposits of Lignin, hemicelluloses , cellulose.

Explanation:

  • Sclerenchyma tissues are mainly composed of dead cells. they have thick wall, which is because of high lignin,  hemicellulose and cellulose.
  • They are of two types fibers and sclereids .
  • Fibers are elongated provide support to plants , sclereids are present in various tissues of the plant.
  • Lignin is a complex of amino acids deposited in the cell wall of plant cells. it provides flexibility, great tensile and compressional strength.
  • Lignin makes the cell wall impermeable and hard .
