(1) We are not able to use them.
(2) We can't survive.
(3) Life is not possible.
So, we should use renewable sources as they are unlimited, are not expensive, don't cause pollution. It is eco friendly. We should use them in a sustainable manner. We should plan for resource planning. It is very necessary.

We would be in a very bad way. No way can solar and wind makeup for the shortfall. Energy prices would skyrocket and all investment would have to go to the only viable energy sources remaining, that would be nuclear wind and solar and hydroelectric. Everyone would have to learn how to conserve and that would be a good thing. Heavy industry would come to a standstill and there would be a lot of suffering and even starvation, a very bad scenario. On the bright side, maybe the Earth would cool off a bit. Thanks for the question.
