Constitution of India has included Right to Equality as a Fundamental Right of all the citizens. The articles 14 to 18 are dedicated to Equality and states that the nation will not deny equality to any person based on caste, class, creed, and sex. Every individual is equal before law and has equal protection of rights.

Some measures are as follow
1.all Indians are given voting rights in respect of caste ,creed ,colour
2.all Indians have right to raise there voice against any political party
3.some seats were reserved for schedule tribes and even for women
4.one third of seats were reserved for women in elections
