1 ) print made idea of scientist like Issac newton accessible to common people. Ancient and medivel scientist text were compiled and published , and maps and scientist diagram were widely printed .
2 ) in China print helped the students preparing for the civil service examination to study.
3 ) mill workers setted up libraries for self teaching thus gaining knowledge . this was not possible at the time of oral culture . that time they had to look for someone to make them teach.
