Carbon dioxide is a green house gas which traps heat of sunlight which causes global warming. It does not harm us now but in the long run it is heating our earth and this is the majir cause of global warming. We all know the adverse effects of global warming. It is the cause for the melting of glaciers and our snow covered mountains to melt.

Carbon Dioxide is the major gas which is responsible for the green house effect.
