Given: Perimeter of a rectangle is 20cm.

To find: The possible lengths and breadths.

Answer:

Formula to find the perimeter: 2(Length + Breadth)

Let the Length be denoted by 'l' and Breadth by 'b'.

Substituting the given values,

20 = 2(l + b)

20/2 = (l + b)

10 = l + b

Therefore the possible lengths and breadths could be any two numbers that add up to 10.

So the possibilities are 5cm and 5cm, 6cm and 4cm, 7cm and 3cm, 8cm and 2cm, 9cm and 1cm.

Hope it helps :)
