what could be the reason behind the formation of swamps in the extensive Continental location of Patanal? plz answer in points.

Prizam0170477: Paraguay river and it's tributaries flow from the pantanal region.
Prizam0170477: The sediments brought by paraguay river and its tributaries get deposited in the low lying pantanal region.
Prizam0170477: The sediments and erosion residues as well as water remains filled throughout the year in pantanal region leading to formation of swamps.
Prizam0170477: This is because sunlight hardly reaches the ground and less evaporation takes place.
varshu724: thanks for your help
Prizam0170477: Welcome for your thanks.

The point are:-

1. Water from the Planalto highlands flow into the gradually-sloped, large depression of Pantanal. From there, the water flows out as the Paraguay River and its tributaries.

2. The Pantanal forms a vast swampy area as a result of deposits from the several rivers and water systems flowing into it.It is home to a diverse collection of flora and fauna.

3. The Pantanal is the world's largest tropical wetland area.

4.  Mostly spread over Brazil, it stretches to Bolivia and Paraguay.

There are many reasons behind the formation of swamps in the extensive continental location of patanal. Some of them are:

1)Due to lack of land.

2)Due to lack of money.

3)Due to lack of sewerage system.
