what could be the reason of uneven distribution of populatin in india

Uneven distribution population is due to urbanization and migration.
The cities continue to develop with a great pace and the villages develop very slowly.
People from villages migrate to cities in search of better life style and job opportunities. This leads to concentration of population in the cities, causing congestion and hike in  property rates.
