What could possibly happen to our communication with others if modals do not exist?
Answers
Answer:
Communication models have existed for the sole purpose of creating betterment for others. To create betterment in the processes of communication among people.
Communication models help to define the source of sending, the receiver, the message and the medium. Just because these things get defined doesn't necessarily mean that such theories would be implemented.
Such theories are helpful to understand the behavior and the nature of communication in organizational structures. Such models could be used as references and examples to help communicators understand that what steps can be taken to improve communication. However, even if these models didn't exist, the basic communication is quite obvious.
Communication is not something which can be taught by studying and finding definitions. Indeed, such models help some people. It's good for academic understanding and research but will rarely affect on a mass level if observed.
Not everyone understands the complex terminologies. Not everyone is used to knowing how to make communication work.
Communication will become effective only with a conscious mind and correct elements. If all models are eliminated and nobody knows what to do, even then, people will follow their natural instincts of communicating. People try to avoid being left alone.
Explanation:
If modals did not exist there would be no way we could communicate our feelings and attitudes towards an action.
Modals are verbs that help us to show our ability or inability, help us ask for permissions and express our attitudes.
The verbs can, could, shall, might, may are all modal verbs. Without these modal verbs, we will not be able to communicate effectively and there are chances that our speech may be taken amiss by the listeners.
