rsons have done from the cold within chapter

They do not died because of cold outside but died of cold within them. They do not want to use their log to light the dying fire for the shake of others who were not of their caste or religion. They thought that by using their log what benefit they will receive.They have ill feeling for others.

If they had used their logs to light the fire beside keeping their thought . They would not died of cold..
