The cultural norms that were imparted to me by my ancestors that are still recognised today are as follows:
- We have been taught to be respectful towards our elders. It has been inculcated since our childhood to use the three golden words 'please, sorry and thankyou'.
- To bring gifts to our relatives or friends house along with us whenever we are invited or we visit them.
- To help the ones in need whether by fund raising or charity or by simply doing few acts of kindness.
- To follow the laws and regulations and behaving properly in public.
These are the cultural norms imparted to us by our ancestors.
