What current will flow in a 120 volt circuit containing 3 resisitances of 1.5ohms, 3.0 ohms, and 4.5 ohms connected in parallel?

your answer is ---

since, given resistance is connected in parallel 

so, total resistance 1/R = 1/1.5+1/3+1/4.5
                                   = 10/15+1/3+10/45
                                   = 30+15+10/45 = 55/45
        R = 45/55 = 0.8 approx

now , current i = v/R = 120/0.8 = 150 ampere
