R(resistance)=40ohms

I(current)=?

V(voltage)=10v

V=I*R

10=I*40

10/40=I

1/4=I

0.24=I

:. I(current)=0.25A

 \boxed{ \huge \mathfrak{solution}}

Given,

Resistance=40 ohm

and

voltage=10v

To find current:

As we know that V=ir

put the values

=> I=v/r

=> I=10/40

=>I=1/4

=>I=0.25

Hence ,the current is 0.25Ampere
