On 12 March 1930, Gandhiji undertook the famous Dandi March. Gandhiji started the Dandi March from his Sabarmati Ashram to the Gujarat coast. Gandhiji along with his 78 satyagrahis reached Coast and broke the salt law. This Salt Satyagraha started the civil disobedience movement.
