we have to find what day of the week it is 1000 days from May 30, 2019 .

Step 2: Devise a plan (translate).

given that, on May 30, 2019 it was thursday .

we will find how many odd days are their in 1000 days. and add in thursday.

• odd day = (Total number of days)/7 = Remainder .

Step 3: Carry out the plan (solve).

→ dividing 1000 by 7 , we get,

→ 1000 = 7 * 142 + 6

→ Remainder = 6 = odd day.

Therefore,

→ Monday + 6 odd day.

→ Sunday (Ans.)

Step 4: Look back (check and interpret).

as we know dividing 1000 by 7 , we get quotient as 142 and remainder as 6.

Also, 6 days from monday is sunday.

Hence, 1,000 days from your recent birthday is Sunday.
