Also, the poem gives a very important lesson that we should be mentally tough and physically strong in order to survive the hardships of life. The poet has personified wind. It breaks the door of the window, scatters the papers and throws down the books on the shelf. It also tears the pages of the books and brings the rain and destroys the daily life of the weaker section of the world. The strong or gusty wind represent turnoil and troubles in our life. We can prevent these destructive events from happening by becoming friends with wind. The poet wants us to make friends with adversities of life. The poet also says that problems will always come to our life and we should be prepared to face with strong temperaments. We should always think positively so that those difficult situation seems friendly to us.
