Infection level or number of microbes present, if infection is low than disease manifestation will also be less

The number of disease causing microbes within the body decide the severity of disease manifestation.

The amount of microbes is extremely small the disease manifestation could also be minor and even go unnoticed. But if the amount of microbes is extremely large then disease are often fatal.

Our system may be a major factor that determines the amount of microbes surviving within the body.
