Flow of heat:

The condition that is necessary for heat transfer to occur between two objects  is that two objects 'must have different temperature'.

Heat always flow or move from the hotter object to the cooler one until their temperatures are equal or temperature difference is equal to zero.

The three modes of heat transfer are:

  • Conduction
  • Convection
  • Radiation
