In 1955, the Warsaw Pact was formed when the Soviet Union and seven of its European satellites sign a treaty.
The mutual defence organisation put the responsibility of the armed forces of the member state under Soviet.
The pact was signed off in Warsaw included Albania, Soviet Union, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Czechoslovakia East Germany and Bulgaria.
