What development promises-Different people, different goals: 1. People seek things that are most important for them, i.e., which can fulfill their desires. 2. Sometimes two persons or two groups may seek things which are conflicting. 3. It means different persons have different developmental goals. 4. What may be development for one may not be development for the other. It may even be destructive for the other. 5. Industrialists may consider construction of dams as development, because it provides electricity that they need.
