British first built Hindu collages as well as Muslim collages and begin to teach Indian Koran and scared Hindu literature. They then formed the ascetic society. Also they begin discovering and translating the old Hindu literature. They were who build the school system and the collages and universities in Bombay madras and Kolkata. Hope it helps
