As he lay thinking, he noticed a spider over his head, getting ready to weave her web. He watched her as she worked slowly and with great care. Six times she tried to throw her thread from one edge of the cave wall to another.He was lying in a state of despair and almost decided that he would not be fighting any more battle against the English just then his eyes fell on a spider; which was hanging by its silken thread and was trying to climb up to reach its cobweb. It failed several times.
