Because of his poetic answers and gradually people began to call him 'Pundit Masai'. The maharaja offer Gopal (Maharaja's court jester) to find out pundit masai's origin and his language. Gopal reached the pundit masai's house late evening. Gopal hid all the lamps and lanterns in the pundit masai's house after returning home,he stumbled in the world dark and was annoyed.In his annoyance he try out in Oriya. And Gopal found out the pundit masai's origin and the language used by pundit masai's was the language in which he was comfortable in.
