However, at the store, he was almost caught, but angrily knocked down the shop owner and tied him up. When Dr Kemp questions him, he justifies his actions ignoring the fact that it was not necessary to gag the shop owner and tie him. He instead blames the shop owner. At Drury, Lane Griffin went ahead and stole money and clothes for people to see him at least.
