In the year 1923 Hitler planned a coup attempt with the Nazis in order to conquer Munich.
About two thousand Nazi soldiers marched towards Munich and got caught in a crossfire.
As a result the operation was off to a failed start with 16 Nazis already dead and Hitler escaping the scene later to be arrested (after 2 days to be exact).
This event led to the public giving Hitler all the attention he needed, this also generated headlines around the world which he then used to make his nationalist agenda spread across.
