what did helen learn about nature? and how?

Helen did not have Eye sight and she could not hear . The only connection then she could have with the world is via her touching sense and smelling sense .
So she did learn from the nature as she could not learn from other people . She felt good in outside nature . She learnt to sense and outside surroundings with feel , smell and touch .
She understood that certain living things in the nature absorb minerals etc and make them part of itself . Similarly people assimilate a lot of knowledge into their brains and become more wise
