Radcliffe College was a women's liberal arts college in Cambridge. It was a female coordinate institution for the all male Harvard College. It had a very good reputation and was known for its intellectual, literary and independent minded student body.
Helen Keller studied in the Perkins School for the Blind, then spent a year at Cambridge School for Young Ladies to prepare for Radcliffe College. She completed her graduation in 1904 from the Radcliffe College and was the first person with deafblindness to get a bachelor of arts degree.
